Looking back at Kiwigrid's showcase at the E-world 2018

E world energy & water has once more provided impressive proof of its position as Europe's leading trade fair in the energy industry: For the first time, 750 exhibitors (more than ever before) from 26 nations presented their solutions for the future of the energy supply at Messe Essen. Digitalisation, flexibilisation and decentralisation were the defining subjects on which the over 25,000 visitors from 73 nations obtained information and exchanged ideas. Kiwigrid was exhibiting with a new concept in Hall 6 right next to Bosch Software Innovations.The Dresden-based Internet of Things provider demonstrated the IoT- and iMSys-based solutions developed together with its customers. In addition, BMW, innogy, SHARP Energy Solutions, enviaM Group and SOLARWATT showcased their products in front of the E-world audience. Kiwigrid's appearance was rounded off by two panel discussions about IoT, sector convergence and smart metering systems. These were attended by high profile representatives of the energy industry, including Martin Herrmann (innogy), Dr. Andreas Auerbach (enviaM), Jochen Schneider (coneva), Peter Zayer (FNN/Voltaris), Peter Thiele (Sharp) and Paul-Vincent Abs (E. ON Metering).
